Pink Anti-Freeze

This could be a dumb question since I never had to winterize before this year.

Does this pink stuff stain?

I left some in the toilet to keep the seal moist, and would hate to have a pink stain come spring. Same with the sinks, shower etc. If the pink stuff is left there, will it stain?

Thanks
Phil

Nope.

You aren't supposed to have any antifreeze in the sinks or showers, just in the drain traps below them.

Just leave a half inch or so of pink stuff in the bottom of the toilet just to keep the seals from drying out.

If there's any residue, it goes away after the first cleaning in the spring.
