Paint codes?

Is there someplace on our Sunlines to find paint codes? Or did Sunline just paint all their trailers of the same year the same colors?

Does anyone know what the paint code would be for the color on our 1983 T-1550?

Thanks for any help. Got some touch-up I want to do.

Frank

No paint codes exist as far as I know. I've never heard anyone mention any.

Okay, funny, I thought sure someone would have tried to match colors. I'm gonna give it a try and see what I come up with. Hmmm, wonder where the most unabused chip of paint is I could take for computerized analysis?

Maybe see if you could get a sample from underneath the door frame, or from under a window frame (yes, this would probably require removing/loosing said frame, but it might be worth it.) Maybe even on the side of the water heater door, down low on the very front of the trailer right near the frame. Just throwing out some ideals for you. Good Luck, keep us posted.

Frank I Don't have a Paint code Either. But I brought to the body shop a one by one piece of the aluminum siding with the paint on it and they couldn't because it wasn't big enough they need a credit card size piece. So we experimented and came up with a close very close color Safari beige. It's still a tiny bit lighter than the original color but I am going back with a bigger piece I just have to take a corner apart and you know what that means on an old trailer LOL. But I'm still trying to find out what camper I have. I know it's a sunline and it's a 17-footer from bumper to front of A- frame. Of course it didn't come with any paperwork. I hope this helps
