Outside Electric Sockets Not Working

I have my T-1950 plugged in here at home. I decided to try my outside light sockets by plugging in the 3 pong orange extension cord I was using with my weed whacker...nothing.

I then tried a regular 2 pong small desk lamp..nothing....Is this because like the AC, the outside sockets are is on a different circuit and require a dedicated 15 or 20 amp connection?

I checked my fuse box...ok there.... but found a separate circuit titled "General Use" and was wondering if the outside sockets are on this circuit?

If it's out side it has to be on a GFI check the GFI in the bath it maybe tripped.

Yes, the 2004's would have the outside plug on the GFI. Odds are high it is the one in the bath room that needs to be reset. If it is not that one then check the one in the galley near the stove.

Assuming no circuit breaker is tripped, the GFI seems to get everyone at least once.....

I checked both, kitchen and vanity...the bathroom was tripped so I reset..I reset the kitchen just to do it, plugged lamp into both and they worked However the outside sockets still do NOT work

I checked the circuit breaker and it does not appear to be tripped

Any other suggestions?

GFI's do go bad but usually the outlet does not work either. If a GFI manually trips and resets means that it is powered. The outside outlet might be the place to start because it is out in the weather be sure to unplug it first.

Thanks...Yup...that is my next step...like you say the outlet would not work either and it does...So logical place to go from there....I am going to unplug and turn off the battery switch and unscrew the outside plate and take a look...I don't want to have to take her in...again :-O
And my awning lights are so cute too I want to use them on my upcoming vacation....Ok praying now...

If the outlet is close to the bath then it most likely is related to the bath GFI. Same goes for the kitchen if every thing looks good replace the GFI they are only about $15 or less at the big box store.

The outside outlet is wired to the kitchen according to diagram I downloaded from here... So ya think that the GFI has a short or something...and that's why it tripped but now it's ok? If I need to replace do I need a RV GFI specific or will do?

I was reading that..."GFCI breakers are designed to trip on the slightest current fault - it could be a small amount of moisture somewhere in that circuit, or a slightly bad connection that is bleeding a tiny amount of power to ground. It doesn't take much to trip a GFCI compared to a normal breaker."

GFI's can be used as a feed through meaning any thing beyond it is protected the same way the GFI outlet is so it is possible that it is not letting the power go beyond the GFI. GFI's are electronic and sense an imbalance of the grounding this is why they are located near any thing to do with water because of better conductivity between you and ground what it does is instantly shut off the power. I would buy a new one from a hardware store personally I think it would be better quality. Please don't curse me if this does not fix it but I can't see your camper from here and that does make it a bit harder if it were mine and I saw no other obvious problem I would replace it.
