No lights in the camper after battery hook up

Hi everyone, sorry to jump into conversation we recently purchased the t260 solaris year 2000. Previous owner installed new battery but never charged it - I pulled it off and charged and re installed but hooked up back wards and now cannot get my interior lights to turn on off battery power. I assume we blew the fuse inside the open wood box as seen in pictures I'm going to pick up some fuse and try a new one. Would this sound correct or could I be missing something. Thanks for your help. Chris
Sorry new to site not sure how to start my own conversation.

Hi Chris,

First, welcome to Sunline Owners Club.

If yours had the little silver device in the wood box with 2 screw terminals, that is a self resetting circuit breaker. It will reset when it cools down and the overcurrent goers away.

However your "might" have a fuse in place of the self resetting circuit breaker. And yes it may be blown.

You most likely also blew a fuse or 2 where all the branch circuits and the converter are. I do not know what brand/style converter your 2002 had. A Centurion like Pablo and I had or a Mangnatec and then which one.

If the fuse changing does not fix this, try and post some pics of what you have so we can better help. There may even be a fuse on the power converter itself that blew as part of a reverse polarity protection.

Hope this helps

John

Maybe someone with a 2002 camper can chime in on what they have and where all the fuses are.
