No interior lights - where is fuse box?

We have a 1983 C951 truck camper and when we replaced a burned out bulb in the overhead interior lights all the lights stopped working. It seems like we blew a fuse because the air, frig and microwave still work. We don't have any manuals and we can't find a fuse box anywhere. We did find the master fuse switches and we reset them but that didn't work. Any suggestions? Thanks, Lisa

Hmm, no response. I wish I knew something about this model but here's some suggestions. The frig, AC, and microwave are all 110v and the lights are 12v. Is there a converter box somewhere? This is a power converter from 110 to 12v? Do you have a water pump? It would be 12v also and if it doesn't work you could have a problem with the converter 12v system. There could be 12v fuses in there as in newer models. If there are only a few lights there could be one fuse for all of them. You changed a lamp? Could there be a short in that fixture or a disconnected wire in the converter. Maybe a 12v ground wire is loose. Good luck.

I'm also not familiar with the layout of the truck campers, but it would be a safe assumption that the converter is directly behind, where the shore power cord enters the TC. A converter of that vintage might have a fuse block inside it, or the TC may have a separate fuse block somewhere near the converter. If you could take and post several pictures of the sides and rear of the TC, as well as some inside the unit, we may be able to help you locate it.

All the stuff that works is 120 volt. I'll assume your slide in has it's own battery there maybe a main fuse right at the battery that supplies all your 12 volt stuff. Check your bulb and make sure it's the right one it most likely is a 1156 other bulbs will if but have a different pin configuration on the end and that maybe why the fuse blew.

Thank you all, it was just a spent auto type 12v fuse. What threw me was the fuse block for the turn sigles & such, like four 6A of this type. But the culprit fuse was under the converter lid.

Working in Warren!
