Newby needs help.....

Getting ready to pull the trigger on a 1976 15SC. The only problem with the little trailer is the furnace has been removed by the owner. I need some sort of heat as it will be used during winter. I have been told the OEM furnace is not replaceable by any current manufactored units. Looking for some ideas for solutions.

Where you will be using the Sunline in the cold weather, will you have electrical service. If so, a nice electric space heater should work well. I'm sure some of the guys will be along shortly to give you some other ideas.

Thanks Kitty......

Mainly boondocking. I run a Civil War relic hunting guided tour business and camp in some remote sites. Don't want to run a generator any more than absolutely necessary so space heaters won't work too well.

Quite possibly it is/was a Hydro-Flame Model HF-7312 furnace. Hydroflame is now Atwood. I haven't had any luck so far finding any referance to the HF-7312. Hopefully the PO left the outside plate of the furnace on the camper. Here are 2 places you could look for a furnace of the same or similar size furnace.

Did the PO leave the wiring and any ducts?

Thank you Gene.......

I haven't seen the trailer yet. It's about 400 miles away and plan to go pick it up soon. A friend of mine who posts here as Doc has a 76 SC that is almost the same except for a different floor plan and his has the Hf 7312 so I am thinking it will be the same. Thanks again for the links. Gives me an excellent place to start.
