Newbie electrical issue

I just got a trailer from my grandpa last construction project. He had a contractor living in it for 6 months. Supposedly everything worked fine in it. The camper is a sunline t-3450.
I hauled the camper to my river property and have it pluged in directly into 30 amp plug in. The pole, water, and sewer were there from previous camper. I have power to every outlite,fridge, ac, microwave but the control panel that says" tank 1, tank 2, fresh water, battery charge, pump doesn't have power for the lights. I have water hooked into direct line and when I turn any of the sinks and shower water only on runs out for 10 seconds and the. Stops.
I'm not sure if a fuze is out or converter? Any ideas will help because I'm headed to camp in it 5 days from now. Thanks

If you are hooked to city you would not have a fuse problem. I would first check and make sure the low point drains are not open and then I would close all faucets and open a hot water side of a faucet. If you hear air coming from faucet your water heater is filling. Let that faucet run until all air is gone and you have just water. Then turn on cold side. Let us know how you do with above. kravedave

The lights, pump,etc. do not run on 120 volts they are 12 volts DC. Yes the converter fuses could be bad also some of the converters would not work with out a battery installed.

Thank you. I will look for the valves in the water lines and I will check on the battery and the fuses.
I shouldn't need a pump if in not using the fresh water tank if I directly using a hose from my water well correct? Because the water has plenty of pressure coming through the hose into the camper.

Speaking of pressure - get yourself a water pressure regulator....cheap insurance!

No you do not need to run the pump if you are connected to city water. I agree with the regulator any RV outfit will have one.

Just in case you aren't familiar with the water pressure regulator, here is a link showing a selection of them. They are important, esp. as trailer age and the older plumbing (esp. the rigid PVC) become more brittle with age "city water pressure" may be higher than the pumping is designed for. The regulator keeps these pressures under control.

Thank you all for your replies. I believe there is a regulator already I place but I will check when I get there this weekend. Appreciate all the tips. Hopefully the only issue is bottom valves closed or something else small.
