moisture Barrier ??

Got new tires yesterday for the sunline. Could i just park the trailer with tires on some clear plastic pieces. I have to park the camper on a fairley steep incline and block the wheels therefore I don't want to park on plywood. Sunline!

Parking on ground

I park on two pressure treated 2X10s long enough to get the tandems on one plank. This lifts the trailer up a bit off the ground and moisture. I cut the front edge at 45 deg. so it's easier to get up.

I'm not sure what kind of plastic you're talking about. Plastic sheet--I would say no, because it will hold water and the tires will stay wet and also too close to the ground. A solid chunk of plastic that lifts up the tires like the planks I use would be ok.

I'm not sure why, but I've heard that dirt/grass is the worst thing to park on, for storage at least. I wouldn't be keen on asphalt either because it gets so hot and would park on planks here too. Tire covers and 303 Protectant will help preserve your new investments if you don't already have them. Camping World has the tire covers on sale right now.

I was thinking of parking on (clear) plastic sheeting, the thin stuff that might come on a roll. My camper sits on a pretty steep incline therefore I'm not too crazy about parking on planks, for fear of it rolling. Unfortunetly, it on dirt/grass.

I have tire covers, their in place already.

kanyonkitty is an unknown quantity at this point
I have an asphalt driveway that Sunny resides on. But, I wanted something between the asphalt & the tires. So, guess where I went looking, yep Lowes my favorite place. I purchased a 3' x 3" rubber anti-fatigue mat. It's laid out in 9 squares, so I cut 2 strips 3' long and the last strip is cut into (2) 18" lengths. I am hoping rubber on rubber is the best to use, and since the mat has holes in it, it does not retains waiter. Well, it can't at my house cause Sunny is in the rv port.
