It's looking better and better! I think I like the grain of the flooring going side to side better vs. front to back.

That looks really good. That flooring looks like real wood and the color compliments the existing wood better than if it was an exact match.

That was Kitty's decision and it was a good one!

Looking like home again Gary!
I'm not sure I understand why the floor is lower causing the tilt you mentioned.

The OSB was thicker than the 1/2" plywood.. Probably near 3/16". Add to that the thickness of the carpet and there's now enough difference to be noticeable. Woody said we won't need any leveler, where the plywood meets the OSB. He cut the carpet back far enough, that I wouldn't have to nail the transition piece to the plywood. It was just too low.

I may end up pulling the vinyl back up in the hallway, so I can put some leveler at that joint. It depends on how it feels to walk on it without shoes on. I haven't tried that yet..

The OSB in ours is 3/4" thick.

That looks great. You have me rethinking my choice of laying the planks long wise down the trailer when I get to the flooring replacement. It does look pretty good the way you have it.

If you have the opportunity at some point, could you take a photo from the back of the trailer looking all the way to the front?

Oh OK, you said the table was tilted, so I'm guessing that's b/c the wall mount and the floor mount are now further apart from each other? How about mounting a spacer between the top post mount and the underside of the table?

That was something I had not considered. I could probably mount a folded-over piece of luan between the mount and the table!

Which blades did you find most useful? I hope to not find out by trial and error. That gets expensive!

Gary
these blades are a bit expencive but they will go through nails an stuff. $32.00 3 pack. The tips are titanium coated. they last longer if u don't force them. even regular blades work better if u don't get them to hot and take temper out.
