leak

Hello First let me say I am a novice at this RV ownership. My new to me 1984 Skyline is leaking aound the air conditioner -- I think. We have not ran it but we did have a hard rain a couple of days ago. could the rain have blown in -- should it have ? What to do?

Thank you

The gaskets for the A/C are really only good for about 5 years it's not a bad job to replace them you'll also find the new gaskets will make the A/C much quieter.

The A/C unit has to be removed, again it is not a difficult job but the A/C unit is a bit heavy so I does help to have a friend along to help lift it. I sure you can find a how to on this site or any RV related site.

When you replace them you will be amazed how flat they are not only to won't leak any more but it will also be a lot quieter. The ones on my old motor home were 27 years old when I replaced them.
