Laminate flooring

Hi I am replacing my linoleum and some carpet with laminate flooring.my question is should I remove the benches and lay the floor under them or try and cut the flooring around them.some one said I should not remove the benches or anything screwed into the floor.Any advice?

Not only are the benches screwed the floor they are screwed to the wall, from the outside under the siding.

We had to repair two soft spots in our 276SR. The linoleum is stretched over the floor and then the walls, cabinets, and furniture, etc. are installed. When they cut the linoleum, it was stretched so tight it shrunk about 1 1/2". We replaced it with laminate. We also replaced the molding with new wood.

I just replaced a section of my rotted floor last weekend and installed snap-lock floor on top of new subfloor. you can see my pics in my album under photos. I don't know why I never did this on my other campers, looks great, cleans very easy. Just put down throw rugs, or a commercial rubber mat/runners. The floor is very solid now. I added steel angle across the doorway. I don't know why they didn't reinforce this area at the factory but I have a big boy that would have gone thru the floor before it was fixed.
