I broke one last year and was able to fix it. I took a wood screw and cut the head off of it. The broken handle is hollow so by hand I ran the screw half way into the broken handle using glue. When the glue dried I screwed the handle with half the screw projecting into the fawcet also using glue. I think the repair is much stronger then the original.
