I'm guessing "IF" anyone will know it would be Jon, (Sunline Fan), so hopefully he'll post to your question.

Hi Richard,

I don't know who supplied the panels. When I needed one, I contacted my dealer and got one that they had in the back that was the closest match to the pattern.

My best suggestion would be to cut out a small piece of the damaged panel (inside a cabinet is best) and take it to a dealer to match it up.

What happened?

Jon

Hi Jon, This is what happend. During a stop at Myrtle Beach last year , we endured a day long downpour after which I noticed wetness on the floor behind the swivle rocker. Brought the trailer to highly regarded rv repair person. He discovered that the water heater was improperly installed at the factory and showed me evidence of water penetration in that area. He thought water ran along floor to opposite corner. Well the water heater problem was taken care, however later discovered water is still coming in behind rocker. Brought it back to shop, they resealed all possible points of water penetration. Left it at shop storage yard for six weeks, checked on it periodicaly, no water. Brought trailer back in preparation for long trip and guess what? more dampness after one of our Florida downpours. When I get back from the trip I will cut away paneling in the area to visually locate source of problem. The panel will have to be replaced because it is starting to soften and deteriorate. Had Sunline still been in business, this would be a warranty issue. So much for Sunline quality.

Richard,

Sorry to hear your having a water problem. Once you cut away the paneling and locate the source of the leak, could you please post that info here, as it might be helpful to others. Photos would be even more benificial.

As for a replacement panel, if your lucky and can cut out just the bottom half of the panel, maybe you could just find some paneling at Lowes/Home Depot that you like and repanel the lower half of the living room area topped off with a piece of trim molding. That would give your Sunline a "custom" look.

As for Sunline quality, well as far as I'm concerned, they are STILL one of the BEST RV's made. These things take a lot of abuse when rolling down the road, and some campground roads are not very well maintained either.

Like I've said before, when the need arises for me to have a new rig and there are NO Sunlines to get, I really don't know what I'd choose.
