Also they would not run a #8 wire to a tiny meter again my guess is it is supposed to go to the converter/charger. Here is the deal I am about a hour from you one of two things you can bring the trailer or I can come to you it's no big deal I am retired and enjoy a wiring mystery. I was the electronics tech for the Cumberland County facilities dept for 15 years my office was right inside the jail in Portland if it had wires I had to deal with it from DC to 480.

Hi Mainah........The battery charge meter works when you move the rocker switch to the "read" position. The "pump" LED lights when you move the rocker switch to "pump". The "battery"LED only goes out when I leave the mystery red wire connected to the battery positive terminal. Haven't seen any sign the holding tank LEDs work or that the fresh water meter works.
That's a generous offer to take a look at my camper. I appreciate it. I haven't had a chance to check the wheel bearings, so I'm afraid to tow it.
If you want to come to Brunswick and take a look, I would be willing to pay you for your time. This is my first travel trailer so I'm learning as I go. I just tested the water heater and furnace today and both work well, although there's very little hot air flow to the rear. I'm thinking the ducting may be the issue.
