The usual culprit is something that built a nest (spiders, etc.) in the burner tube or the flame tube that runs through the tank. The black smoke sounds like the flame isn't burning clean in the burner tube. Try a few blasts of compressed air through the burner and the flame tube then watch, with the outer door open, and see if it changes and if there is a blue flame with little or no yellow going into the flame tube through the tank. The exhaust vent at the top left should have just hot air comming out.

tried blowing it out no good

Well I tried blowing out with the air compressor and it does not seem to shut down now but ran for 2-3 minutes and still lots of black smoke coming out. The tube by the flame is blue at tip but goes yellow quickly and whne it first starts flame pops back out and spilling out to start before only in the fire tube

took the tube off from the reg to the fire tube. a very small amount of something like 1/4" dia was in the tube and caused all that problem.

Thanksall!!!!
