Help with our Sunline travel trailer T-1350

My husband and I are running into some problems and need someone to verify that we have done everything correctly when we winterized our Sunline T-1350 travel trailer.

We are worried that if we did not do the winterizing properly that there will be major problems come the Spring. We are willing to pay someone to to come to our house in Silver Spring, Maryland. We have tried contacting RV places near Silver Spring, MD, however, they will not come to our location even if we pay them.

Is there someone out there that can assist us?

to be honest, if the pump and hot water tank and fresh tank are at least drained, you will be ok. and to be honest, when draining the tank, with the faucets open, the back drain MOSTLY drains the piping which is just about ok....we dont get real hard freezes down there - but I understand your trepidation.

during the week I am oft in WV working, about 45 mins away, but Id hate to solicit biz on a forum...detail what you did and most people here will grade it.....

Give Pat a call at:

We Come 2U RV Repair
443-938-2787 (cell)

Patrick V. Drum Jr., Owner

We've used him several times, he's very good and also reasonable. He used to work at a Sunline dealer. He is based in Glen Burnie, MD and I know he's recently done work at Breezy Point Campground in Calvert County and Morris Meadows Campground in Baltimore County, so I'm pretty sure he'll come to Montgomery County.

He might be booked for a few days, he's currently scheduled to do some work on our trailer!!

Mack

Open all your water pipes. Make sure to open the one on your hot water heater. Open black and gray water then cut your pump on till no water comes from any opening. Put a little of the camper antifreeze in your drain and you should be OK.
