Grey water not draining, HELP?

We took our 1997 T-2553 out for a early season shake down and I drained the antifreeze here at the campground. BUT... the grey water is not draining at all, and now it's full. We are at a grey water site only so I can't check the black water here.

Does anyone have any idea why the water may not be draining? It worked fine when I winterized in the fall. I have not crawled under it yet. Are there any other valves somewhere beside the one at the end of the system.

Any help would be great!

You and I have the same Trailer. There should be 2 gate valves both back by tanks. one for gray and one for black. unless someone redid plumping. both should remain closed until dump time. possibly handle rod came loose or broke at valve. raining right now or I would take photo.

Hi,

Are you talking about you cannot dump the gray tank? Or the water does not go down the drain?

And how do you know it is full? Is it coming up in the floor of the shower? That is generally totally full.

If this is the gray tank, when you pull the sliding dump valve, do you feel the normal drag when you pull it open? If the valve is open and the tank had water in it, it show come flying out. You should be able to feel the drag opening and closing the slider valve. This seems to point to the valve not opening or you have a really bad build up inside the tank covering the opening.

Hope this helps

John

it's probably the handle has broken loose from the actual dump valve but it not,
Do you have a pressure washer?

Look on the bright side--it's only grey water, like the bath water you just got out of and thought you were all squeaky clean. Park the trailer on the grass, take the valve apart and let it run. You might want to wear a bathing suit and take a bath, or make that a shower, after. Then move the trailer to a dry spot and fix it. 30-40 gal. is not a lot of water in the grand scheme of things--like maybe a rain barrel full.

Easy for me to say. I have a large lot, sheltered from the neighbors.
