Jim,
The newer Hydrotherm furnaces have the on/off rocker switch. Looks like this.
As to what it does, it shuts down the 12 VDC going to the furnace.
As to why is it there, I 100% do not know what Atwood had in mind when they added it. It is a easy way to kill power to the furnace if you happen to be working on it or you want to disable it for some reason. You have to pull the cover off to get to it. It for sure was not intended to be used as part of the normal camping to disable the furnace buried behind that cover.
Also notice, there is a 10 amp circuit breaker there with a reset button on it.
Your prior 2004 model camper had this same setup.
Hope this helps
John
PS as to the doors, if you cannot find one some members have taken a door off and took it to a local cabinet maker and they reproduced them. Just give them your new dimensions and make it like the style you bring in. Custom color stains can now be made too to match at your local paint stores. I had a quart made up of the maple color in our camper. So if they only do the wood works and not the stain, you can create the stain and top coat.
Or you can make them yourself if you have the tools to do so. I did make a few myself for our T310SR. We however have more of the square shaker style doors and it is easier to cut them with a table saw and dado. Did not need a fancy router bit like I think the 2007 campers now use with a lot of curves in them. Here is how I made some of them. I can't find the post where I made one for over the bed to gain access to the center of the cabinets.
