Here this one will help. It is the 2004 printing but not much has changed

http://bryantrv.com/docs2/docs/hflamefurn04.pdf

Page 25 has the gas valve ohms 30 to 50 ohms

I'll see if I can find the 2007 printing

Update. Did some troubleshooting this morning. The valve works. I put 12V across it to verify. There is no blockage either. I took the burner assembly off and everything looks good. However, I am not getting 12V to the valve. I get a very small voltage in the vicinity of 300mV. Based on this, I believe the board is bad. Planning to order a replacement unless someone here sets me straight. Any thoughts?? Thanks!

Jeff

I would go with the board they are not that expensive and the Dinosaur boards will try to light 3 times unlike the OEM board. On the Dinosaur site they have pictures all you need to do is match the picture up to yours.

Hi Jeff,

Agree in this case, the board is suspect. Good for you tracking this down.

Let us know how it turns out.

John

The board you want is model UIB-L Fan 50 Plus. From reading your posts your furnace already has that feature. If it dos not the board comes with the wiring to convert. My 06 264rs already had that..

Thanks alot for all of the help so far. The board should be here today. Hopefully the furnace will fire right up after replacing the old one. I will post an update once I get it in there. Should only take a few mins.

Jeff

Jeff,

Good for you!!!! and thanks for reporting back.

Since you have worked your way through this, the same troubleshooting skills fit any of the other appliances in the camper. The electronics (if we want to call them that) are right out of the 70's. Very basic, inexpensive to manufacture at the OEM level and they have a level of working for the end user. The advancement has come in the power converters. New ones today are light years better then the ones in the campers (think 80's and 90's) The year 2000 to 2004 started to get better but still shortcomings. A 3 stage converter did not show up until the 2006 models. But you can now buy a very good converter if and when your's goes out. The Furnace, HW heater, AC unit and the fridge have not really changed that much in the big picture. Around 2003/2004 they had some upgrades but not a lot since.

Happy camping

John

John,

Thanks again for the help. Made it a very simple fix.
