Hi Jim,

What year Sunline do you have and do you have a make/model number on the furnace?

It sounds like you have one of the older gas pilot versions. They had a few versions before the all electric ignition ones come to be. Some of the older ones were total all gas mechanical some combo gas pilot and electric. I may be able to help point you to some places to look, but need the model and year to help know which one you have.

Pics of the gas valve area help too.

Hope this helps

John

use a meter to see if you have 12v dc at the two terms on the gas valve,
while the blower is running. since the fan is running the wall t-stat is good.
power then goes thru a high temp limit switch then thru a sail switch to gas valve. If the fan is running slow ( low dc voltage ) the sail will not pass power.

Not knowing what year you have, if a trailer service dealer is handy it might be a good idea and a good time to schedule a good checkup on all appliances and get the furnace fixed. The water heater and refrigerator should be checked periodically as well as the furnace.
