Question Fridge problem

Hello everyone,
My wife and I went camping for a couple of days and our fridge worked well. On our return journey I lit the propane before we left but when we got home the flame was out. We have a Sunline Saturn T-1661 with a Dometec fridge.
I turn the valve to gas, then turn the thermostat one quarter turn, press button "c" and push the ignite button. It starts but when I release button "c" the flame goes out.Can anyone tell me what is wrong?
Thanks in advance for suggestions.
Les

Welcome to forum
Where there is no such thing as a dumb question. Everyones been there.

Sounds like a bad thermocouple. Pilot heats thermocouple telling valve to stay open. If bad valve will shut everything down.

When it first lights you'll need to hold the button on for a bit to heat the thermocouple.

Smile Fridge problem

Hi mainah,
I have held the button in for up to 1 minute but the main burner will still not light. Thanks for the advice anyway.

If it just goes out then it pretty much has to be the thermocouple.
