I have to pull a few more staples inside and then get the carpet installed. The repairs replaced about 10 inches of paneling inside that does not have wallpaper. I'm thinking of just cutting the carpet around the table parts so that it runs up the wall in those areas to cover the repairs.

Maybe you could just use different wallpaper in that whole section??????? Like the entire dining room area was meant to have different wallpaper to differentiate that area? If you are wallpapering over wallpaper you need to use vinyl to vinyl adhesive.

Otherwise, maybe you could steal some wallpaper from in a closet by carefully stripping it off and then attaching it to the repaired wall using Zinnser seam repair Glue. Rewallpaper the closet with some different wallpaper.

Running the carpet up the repaired wall sounds good but so does Anita's idea.

You doing a very good repair. Thanks for sharing, very helpful for others to see.

Since you are handy and have the tools, see this mod I did on my T2499 to create access under the T2499 jack knife sofa. You have it all apart now and easy to add. Something to consider or spark other ideas from it.

Keep up the good work

I took the easy way out and ran the carpet up the walls. Since I bought a 6 x 8 bound carpet I left 3 sides bound and just cut the one end to finish the curve. Because the width just made it to the couch it's a tad shorter on the side wall. It looks good and it provides good protection for the wall under the table.

All done. Ready to go camping!!
