converter burping

I just hooked up a new deep cycle 12-volt battery and while the lights are working, I'm hearing an intermittent burping sound about every 10 or 15 seconds from the converter. It happens when I'm plugged into shore power too, and dims the lights during the burp. Ideas? Thanks, Cap

Does that mean it happens when you are NOT connected to shore power?

I think Janalee has the answer. The converter only runs on 120volt shore power.

Just turn off your pump and see if your burp sound is gone-if it is gone, then check to see if any of your faucets or connections have a drip, which would cause the pump to burp..Also if your water heater is on,you could have a small drip from the pressure valve. Janalee
