Unhappy Broken leaf spring, where do you get another?

Hi All!

I have a busted leaf spring on my '92 Sunline 2051 trailer, and have no idea going about finding a direct replacement without replacing them all. Anyone know of a source that could supply based on model?

Thanks!

Matt

See my reply in the for sale forum. I saw that before your post here. This is the best place for such a post. Most of us read all the new posts so it's not necessary to post the same info in the different threads. Glad to help out and welcome to the SOC!

Henry

Hi Matt

1st off welcome to SOC. Glad to have you with us.

Next see this post. This link contains places that have springs and 2 of them that are maybe unique to Sunlines as they did use shorter springs in some cases.

That entire post may help.

If you have a broke spring the next question is why? Was it it's time in life or is there an underlying cause?

Do you have any scaled weights of the entire axle load and just one side of the camper?

The older camper had lighter springs as the GVWR on the TT was lighter too. But folks find way to load stuff into the camper and may trip the rating and no realize it.

Also any loose U bolts can do a spring in fast. The pack is not tight and then the main one takes all the load and can’t.

Hope this helps and glad to help more if needed. Pics go a long way in these kind of trouble shooting posts.

John
