Gary, that is a good question. Any one know if Sunline ever intended to have you tow at high way speeds with a full black or gray tank?

I have never seen it written in any manual to allow this or not. Towing in the campground to the dump station is all of 15 mph. A totally different dynamic then 55 down the highway and hit a pot hole.

The fresh tank has substantial metal rack under it to take the bounce. I know it is made from different plastric but still it is light years ahead of other brands which can be a mere 2 pieces of pipe strap...

John

Cleon, real nice job on the tank. Thanks for sharing. Very help full.

I just looked through the entire FAQ and article section of the website and there was nothing published about it.

I don't recall being told anything about it in all my conversations with LaRue, but then again, I usually wasn't asking about that kinda stuff...

Jon, I know. I never saw anything either. By any chance do you have any contacts at Jayco to ask? They mount their black and gray the same way. They are also not that great on the fresh tank. My buddies JayFlight only had 2 pipe straps on the entire fresh tank and one of them was about ready to come off. Sunline and the fresh water cages they made is ahead of most out there in stability.

I just sent an e-mail off. I'm not sure if I'll get a response or not, but if I do, I'll pass it along.
