The Battery Tender is a good unit. It is a float charger to keep the battery up at 100% state of charge. The only draw back is it does not have the desulfate mode like the Battery Minder Plus does. Battery sulfation occurs when ever you use the battery especially when it is deep discharged. The is no way to stop the process but it can be helped and cured by frequent desulfation.
