Bath room sink rubber washer

This past weekend we took our 25 foot 2006 Sun line camping. This was the 5th trip of the season. The second day in, the rubber washer between the hot water line and the Bath room sink started leaking. I shut the water off. And went to two different RV parts stores, Both places only carried the cone shape washers. I tried one but it would not seal the leak. The washer that came out is half the thickens of a standard rubber washer with a prominent base. What have others done to resolve this problem. I am thinking cutting the factory hose clamp with the moto tool, and replacing with a new compression fitting may be my only option.
Thanks in advance.

JohnB is on a distinguished road
Since yours is a 2006, you are on the newer plumbing.

Is this the fitting that is on the end of the pipe?

Product Details - Zurn

We need to find the fitting/washer you need. I would not cut off the Pex fitting just yet. That is way down the list of fixes.

I changed the sink faucet in our bath and I do not remember what the rubber washer looked like. I have high confidence we can find the washer if we know what the one you have now looks like.

Lowes actually has a not too bad selection of Pex fittings. Even Home Depot and Menards

Watts also has a good part of the bussiness now.

Any chance of taking a picture of the washer seperate and the fitting on the end of the pipe? If you come up dry not being able to find a washer, take some pics and we can help you hunt.

Hope this helps

John
