Bad taste in water

When Camping this weekend the water out of the faucet tasted very bad. I unhooked the hose from the trailer and the campground water tasted fine. the problem is the trailer itself. Any one else ever had this problem? Or any one have any ideas to get better tasting water

Did you happen to sanitize the fresh water system, when you started the year? There is a spring startup guide in the files section. It will explain how to do the sanitizing..

Hi Kenneth,

I agree with EMD_Driver. Bad tasting water comes from an infection in the piping system. Even leaving the HW heater filled a real long time can do this too.

A Sanitize of the system will clean it.

I did not sanitize the fresh water system, but I will this weekend. Thank you I will let you know how I make out.

Thank you I went to the link you provided followed your directions for sanitizing the water system and it took care of the problem. This forum is awesome with some very knowledgable people. I can't thank you enough DW is very happy with the results. Ken
