Another paint question

This time I want to paint the side flares or fender skirts (or what ever they're called) those plastic pieces on the edge of the wheel well.. The flares are in decent condition but the finish is kind of faded. They are definitely not at that chalky stage just faded a bit and I want to perk up the color a bit.
Does that Krylon paint work for this app?
If not maybe someone could recommend something. I do prefer to spray rather than brush-on

Krylon makes a paint just for plastics. It has been my experience that it stick to just about any thing!

I actually found a day with no rain !!!!
I removed to two wheel well trims pieces clean; off the old putty; painted the two pieces. (BTW Home Depot doesn't sell Krylon anymore but they did have Rust-Oleums' version of the same. NICE PAINT.
Everything went smooth except for when I put on the new putty, it left gapping holes (cracks between the trim pieces and the trailer body)

Is there a kind of caulking I can use to fill it in? Basically it looks like crap and I just want to look prettier than it is.

I used the actual roll of putty we all find at the RV shops. The same stuff we all use to seal the windows on the trailers. I had some leftovers

You can try a fine bead of dicor caulk. Not the self leveling

Jerry, check out this thread for some tips on using the caulk. I had a heck of a time with it until I figured out how to use it properly. One thing I noticed on the corners the I resealed (with putty) and then recaulked....wait a good week or two before caulking. Why? That putty will continue to squeeze out and bulge the caulk if you caulk too soon after installing the part with the fresh putty.

Thanks Scott for responding. I was trying to find your post to show him. I remember it wasn't to long ago.

I went to the RV shop and they sell it but had since run out so it's back ordered. Should be in Tuesday or Wednesday, then I'll re-read the posts. I'm sure it's straight forward. I don't think my putty was a temperature issue but rather the vertical contour of the siding on the wall. All this because the old putty was almost black from years of dirt and all I wanted was a clean look. Gee, the things we do to make things right
