Is this the part you are referring to? I did a hit on the part number you posted.

Dometic 830463P Slider Assembly Camper Trailer RV

Mine is a little different than this unless I'm looking at it wrong. I have not looked up your parts list

Hello JohnB
yes -- that is the part that is broken -- that is the only part number i could find with my research -- it is the sliding assembly bracket that slides up the small rafter arm
with the black twist knobs for tension -- goes up and fastens next to awning tube --
with awning up -- it is straight out from camper top to awing tube

thanks for your help

Hi Larry,

I found this

I will try and look at mine as I just had this apart a few weeks ago replacing the awing material. But I'll still coming up short that the part I linked above is actually the one on mine.

Are you talking about part 5, the nut for the black knob or part C1 on the end that part A6 clips to when you slide it all the way towards the awning tube?

Ok Larry, Got It

Open awning. Do not extend rafters.
Remove 2 screws at bottom of upper arm. Square head screw small driver, not Phillips

Slide rafter down
IMG_0262.jpg

Raise rafter. At this point you can move rafter side ways and remove inner arm or replace slider while hanging.

Reassemble opposite of removal.

Good luck Jim

Thanks Jim, you enabled me to get the slider off. I am not trying to find out with the manufacturers whether their readily available A&E 8300 series part suits my 8272003 series - the new part seems to be wider at the raised boss, ie 36mm whereas mine is 25mm
