2005 sunline solaris T264 SR Fender Skirt

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

After a tire blowout this year half of my fender skirt for my Sunline Solaris T-264 SR was lost on the highway.

I contacted Icondirect for a replacement and sent them pictures they responded to me that they think its the FS2245 replacement which is 66 inch length and 14 5/8 height.

My measurements for the length are closer to the FS2319 for the length which is 65 3/4 inch but my height is still off on this measurement which on the replacement is 14 1/2 inch.

The measurement I am getting is 64 3/4 length and 15 1/2 inch height, measured from underneath to include the curve. Measurement from hole to hole on the top is 14 inches pictures included

does anyone know if my measurements are correct for this sunline year and model and if either of the 2 options icondirect is offering would work?

Thanks

On have no help on the specifics, but I will say that those are tough measurements to get. The fender can really get torqued on install. I knew what fender I had and still had some trouble making sense of the measurements.

Hi Stringer,

I do not know if you are past this already or not. Last year I too had a tire destroy my fender and I bought 2 of the FS2245. I installed one and still have the other new in the box as a spare. I can measure, takes more pics etc if it helps you any. This link will take you to some pics

Mine is a 2004 T310SR, but it has the same original axle setup, and tire size as the 2005's 8,600# GVWR campers before the change to the gold fender in 2006. Sunline used the same fenders across all models in the same range of years when the GVWR of the camper would align. They are not really different on every model. All 2005 8,600# slide room campers would use the same fender. And I believe the 2004's are also the same, and on the 10,000# SR campers.

Mine was not a 100% exact fit, I would say a 95% fit and I tweaked the rest and it covered what it needed too and I was happy with it.

The way Icon makes their molds is, a customer sends them the leftovers of a broken one. They make a mold for it, sell them their fenders than offer those as replacements to others, like you and me. I do not think the originals from Sunline were even exact across a year or so run of them. The molding process of that ABS plastic is not that exact. And how Icon measures them is not in an exact manner. And the part is not easy to measure with the compound curves. While it did fit, I could not exactly get their measurements to align with how I measured their fender. They may have a tolerance a lot larger than we think.

Bottom line, I could make it work as a fender to cover what it needs to, in may case the FS2245 worked well on my 2004 SR camper.

Hope this helps

John
