1991 T1750 Repair

I am new to the Forum. I have a 1991 Sunline Star Ray 17'. It has been in our family for 8 years. I have been pacthig it up as I go. Last year I rebuilt the front end framing. I had the opportunity to buy my parents 5th wheel but I am not quite ready to let the Sunline go.

I will be posting pictures of my ongoing repairs here. Hope to get lots of advice from some of the gurus here on the forum.

Ceiling Repair Phase 1

I have started the ceiling repair in my Sunline. I started by removing sections of the ceiling panel.

As part of the general repair, I decided to install a new awning fabric. I purchased this from rvawningsmart.com. So far I am happy with it. Install was fairly simple. I was fortunate in that my awning roller caps had the grooves in it so I didn't have to remove the roller.

I see the rvawningsmart awning now seems to be all once piece around the roller tube?

The one I bought a few years back was 2 piece.

Hi John,

Yes it is all one piece. I was fortunate that the end of the roller cap had the grooves in it so I didn't have to remove it to install the awning.

Thanks for the info. Good deal on the grooved end caps. They should of made them all that way.

Thanks for posting the pic of the awning! I'm looking to replace mine as well.
Is the color on your awning on both top and bottom?
