05 T2499 Bent Header AGAIN

Well I'm down in Bowling Green, KY at a diesel truck rally, and I happen to look at the front of Sunny and thought "Hum, something don't look right"

Well, sure enuff, the header is cracked again. SO, Sunny will once again need to be repaired. I am so upset about this. I am going to look into having the 4 inch tongue removed and a 5 or 6 inch tongue put on. I cant
be dealing with this mess, plus the expense. Right now, I really wish I had the money/means to go get that '03 Sunline fifth wheel that I keep drooling over.

SO, if your one of the 2499 folks that had your header/tongue repaired, inspect it and keep an eye on it.

Kitty

Oh boy. Please add pics when you can. I wanted to at the M & G crawl under and look at yours but I got tied up and didn't see it up close. Sorry. So I'm at a loss to what you exactly have and where it would of cracked at.

Looking here: http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/ph...=asc&start=165 Scroll down about 1/2 way.

We can see your repair. It is hard to believe the header is buckling like it was before, but you said it cracked. Do you mean the 4” Channel cracked or a weld cracked?

Need more info

I sense your frustration for sure. Will help as we can, which goes without asking.

John

Wow Kitty we are so sorry Steve is baffled and also said he'd like to see some pics. I don't know....dealers are probably pretty hungry right now, maybe you could get a good deal on that 5er.
