I have just purchased the same camper. Also been sitting under shed since 1997. Everything works except fridge. Trips the gfi when I set it to electric. Any ideas? Thanks

If you have an ohm meter, with all power off, 12 VDC and 120VAC, unhook the 2 wires from the electric heating element.

Using the ohm meter, look for the resistance between each wire of the element (all 2 of them) separately and an earth ground wire or the 12 volt negative wire. If the resistance is real low on one or both, then odds may be the element itself is shorted inside and connecting AC neutral to earth ground. It has happened after they get really old. It may be some rusting of the sheathing happened making the connection and it will trip a GFI with ease. Each of those wires are supposed to be insulated from the casing which touches ground on purpose.

If that is not the issue, then we need to dig deeper.

Hope this helps.

John

Great question! I'm not entirely sure it's set up to have one independent of the truck, but I'd hope so. I would guess either under the dinette bench, or in the propane cabinet. Is it set up for single or dual propane tanks?

Wow that is beautiful. I had the exact opposite luck. I bought a 1990 C951 FOR $150.00 needs a ton of work but I'm still excited.

We can help on the parts, as many of the parts are not actually made by Sunline but by RV part manufacturers that are sold to many brands of camper.

Tell us what parts you are looking for and we may be able to help point you in the right direction.

Posting pictures of the part you need really helps too. Just knowing what the part is called in the RV world is half the battle of finding them.

So far, we have found most all parts for a Sunline. Or if discontinued a substitute.

Hope this helps

John

If you guys can both post pictures that would be great. Also, how long of a truck bed do you need to carry one of these?

Thanks,
Steve
