Welcome Bernt,

Based on your picture, I can't really make out what brand it is. It may be either an early '80s Coachmen or a late '70s Jayco, but that's my best guess.

Do you have the camper in Norway or is it in the US?

Did you receive any sort of paperwork with it? There may be some sort of specification sheet posted on an interior cabinet wall and there may be a specification decal on the outside near the entry door.

Jon

I have the camper in Norway and there were no papers with it. The seller said it was a 1990 mod.Im missing the decal next to the entery door. Cant find anything inside the camper either. I will try and take some better pictures so it can be seen from different angels. I also wondered what the weight can be on this one? Hope you all can understand my writing hehe

Thanks

Bernt

I'd guess it's about 1500 lbs dry, maybe less. It looks like a 8' model from the picture, though it could be a little shorter (the bottom part that sits in the truck bed). Since it isn't a Sunline though, the weight could really be anything.

Hi Bernt,

The RV industry interchanges many components between RV manufacturers. There's only a few games in town that produce the parts, so they have to choose one. They've got the parts so cheap that coming up with something else like producing themselves is financially not smart. Your jack mounts and jacks are probably one of three or so brands available and are probably used on many campers.

One way to tell for sure if it's a Sunline is a potential number under the door sill plate. When you open the rear entry door, there should be a small curved aluminum plate held on by a few screws. Remove the screws and pop the plate off. There should be an aluminum VIN tag under there with a number on it. If this number starts with a "1LC", then it is for sure a Sunline as that's the national NHTSA code registered for Sunline.

If you don't have a 1LC VIN, you might try to browse some truck camper listings for model years like 1980 to 2000 to see if you see anything similar. Here's a link to try:
