C-951 Sportster

Waiting on roof coating 20/20 to arrive!
Started work on weak areas inside. In cab over sides below windows front area and shelf in front.
Tear out weak or water damaged wood and insulation. Replaced wood and insulation, and finish paneling. Not a match, but livable.
Some pics, previous owner said “no leaks that I know of!”

Looks great, nice work!

The pics sometimes rotate funny depending on how the phone took them. If you edit the pic on the phone to rotate it correctly, the original is likely to upload when you upload to here. If you save it on your computer and rotate it on there, it should upload fine.

Wow! Looks great! I like the light color paneling with the dark trim. Keep posting pics! I love seeing the progress and since I don't have one of my own, I'll live through yours. LOL! I found one similar to yours near where I work but one of the guys on the Facebook group said I need a 2500 to carry it because of the weight. What do you have for a truck?

Got a Z71 4x4 extcab gmc 1500

Drove fine if going long distance I would invest in cab to camper dampeners/ tie downs.
Thanks for the encouragement.

Ok! Cool!

One more question. How long is the camper and how long is the bed of the Z71? Oh, wait, that's two questions.

‘95 gmc

Specs say the bed length is 6.5’.

The camper has a 16x10’ tarp over it and there is maybe 1’6” over one side and length just covers top to mid way of front window.

So it’s prolly 8.6’ w, and 17’ L.

Thanks
