Question Wall/Ceiling TV Mount?

I want to mount my 22" Samsung in my T-1950.

If you have a T-1950 you know the cable connection is on the wall by the foot of the bed.

What have other T-1950 owners used or installed?

You should have a shelf under the cabinet over the foot of the bed on a swivel bracket. Set the tv on it and it can be positioned to view from any direction. Put the tv away when not in use.

Yes I do. However, that's not very convenient to have to put it away or maneuver around or put it up every time I get back on the road, its a small Samsung 22in LED flat screen and I do not want to possibly damage it by moving it so much.

Mounting it avoids all of that and there are several locking mounts specifically for RV travel I have found searching.

I am now thinking based on where the mount could possible go and how the TV would rest on a mount that the only place would be the side (closest to the bed)of the clothes cabinet above the current TV shelf you mentioned. However, I am not sure the cabinet is strong enough?

The weight of the Mor Ryde TV mount is 10 lbs and my TV weights 7.9 lbs (without the stand, which I would not be using with a mount)

The Mor Ryde locking TV mount has gotten good reviews Mor Ryde's Swivel LCD TV wall mount

Reinforce the inside of the cabinet.....that is what we did!

Also you may want to save some $$ instead of a locking mount - use a normal one and anchor a strap with velcro so you can strap it in.....our new Dutchmen has the living room TV mounted that way! Works for us! This way I know it is locked by a visual last minute walk thru!

Would you mind giving me a link to the one you purchased?

I did not have to purchase it - it was in our Rubicon along with the TV and the Velcro strap.

There is a picture somewhere on the forum showing a TV mount that swings around to view from the couch .... I remember the picture but forget who the suspect is.

Thank you! That is exactly where I thought I would put mine so that is confirmation. However, I am thinking the sturdier wall mount with a locking mechanism so I do not have to remove it every time I want to move

Check on Camping World and you'll find a bracket for a small tv that includes a swing arm and two wall brackets. This works well for me because the tv with the swing arm removes easily to stow for travel and the second bracket is mounted so I have two locations for the one tv now. I tied the old swing arm back with a bunjee before but the tv was allowed to shake up and down while traveling and I suspect this destroyed the dvd works inside.

When I put the swing arm in the T-320, I used a piece of oak. I made a template and transferred the factory TV shelf holes to the oak. When I was installing it, I put some velcro behind the oak board. When it was time to secure it, I pulled the velcro straps tight and fastened them together, at the front of the TV. Never had a problem.

P.S. I liked this mod so much, that I easily transferred it to the F-311, when we got it. The F-344 had a place for a bedroom TV, so it never made it to our current Sunny...
