The actual paid price will be what the buyer feels is a good deal for them. This may be under market value or over. Location and features are hard to put a price on so in the end it can come down to, what enjoyment will you get from this purchase? Remember this is a camper.... We buy these things for enjoyment...
There are often times I will pay more for something to get what I want than to save a few dollars and be upset with the decision a long time.
Maria, a thought on this is, have you called your insurance agent and what will they insure you for? This may or may not change your decision but you know going in what to expect in the event of a loss.
I have a 1965 Pintail sailboat. It is a collator’s item. When I went to register it, Lady at the ODNR said does that still float; it is an old boat.... I did not pay a lot for it, had a bunch of clean up and fix the trailer. It is however, a full-blown day sailer with a jib in great shape garage kept. If a total loss happens, I will probably get nothing. In this case, it is a whole lot different than if I lost our camper. The camper is a big deal to us and approaching 10 years from the day it was made. That is fully insured for total loss of the price paid. Two different items and one is more important to me so I pay the insurance to have a piece of mind.
