turning on heat

Hi everyone Hope you camping is going great.I'm In ny and the temp is rainy and cold.I have never used my heat before.I have a 92 2590 and was wonder is there any thing to check.I am hook up to shore power and have no battery hooked up.I have no manual so was wonder how to turn on and light and info would be great.Thanks in advance Joe&Judy

For the furnace you need 2 things, LP must be on and you need 12 volts. If you don't have a battery your converter may not put out 12 volts, mine doesn't, other converters do put out 12 volts without a battery. If your 12 volt interior lights work then you are all set. Just turn on the thermostat. The blower should start and then the furnace will self ignite and after a minute you should feel heat out a vent near the floor.

Let us know if that does/doesn't work.

Give it a try and see if it lights, if it does'nt work go to Sears a buys a 12 V marine battery. They are not that expensive. You will need to have heat this fall. Happy Camping.
