If you would like pictures and some information from our log send me an email at
normacs@aol.com and I'll send you some information. I will say that Labrador is by far the wildest place I've been, true frontier and that includes Alaska and the NW Territories, though the Yukno is pretty good.
As to the use of the Hoda CRV as a tow vehicle, the Honda worked like a charm. We did not have a single problem and the TLH is one tough road, I know no other like it. Yes we had to shift but that's what its for. Hondas only come in gas and 4 cylinder in the USA. In Europe you can get a 6 speed diesel, probably a better choice but what we had worked perfectly and got a legit 20MPG, that was mostly 4th gear driving, a lot of 3rd and some 2nd on loose gravel and sometimes wet roads. Of course our trailer weighs only 2200 pounds.
It worked really well. I can't wait to see what the air filter looks like.
I'm glad to answer any questions and provide trip information.
