Steve, here's a link to a previous tpms thread.

The Orange system is still working well and I notice that it is now also available at Amazon. I do have one sensor now that appears to have a dead battery. This is a pain with internal batteries, but it is still the neatest OEM style installation. My local tire dealer happens to sell Orange and so getting a new battery and an installer familiar with the system is not a big deal.

Since upgrading my GPS to a Garmin LMT model, I have found that the live traffic interferes with the tpms signal similarly to the iPod FM transmitter problem I reported earlier. This may be due to a weak tpms signal over the distance to the trailer wheels. I have never had a problem otherwise getting a signal from the trailer into the truck cab. When towing, I now just use the old GPS cable that does not have the traffic receiver built in.

Henry

When Kitty had the 2499, she had a PressurePro system on it. We used it up until this year. When we asked around for recommendations, we were pointed to TST. Their 507 system is great and has worked well, even with our 35' fifth wheel. We've had no communication issues, even with the length of our Sunline.

I did have an issue with the first receiver we got, but I believe it may have been in our truck's electrical system. regardless of the cause, TST replaced the unit extremely fast! We have had no problems since!

I just got back from camping on the Chesapeake bay in Maryland with my new tire pressure monitoring system on my trailer. I have to say that was the best mod I have done to my camper it worked great what a Peace of mind knowing where my tire pressure was at all times.
Thanks heneryj and all for the recommendations.
