Surge Protectors

OK so I have a question.....CW had surge protectors on sale....30 amp and 50 amp.....we have an 07 T2499 - which one do we need?

We do mostly dry camping, however on occassion, we do go to a full hook-up campground, we have never had 50 amp service, that I can remember. We are getting a direct 30 amp line in the garage for the TT, in the spring.....so please tell me what I need!

Thanks everyone!

Kathy

Kathy, you should have a 3 prong male plug on the end of your shoreline cable - that's 30 amp.

The prongs on the male end should look like this:

http://www.campingworld.com/browse/s...r/skunum=25773

(The link I grabbed is for a replacement plug, so the body is a bit different from the molded one you have on your shoreline, but the prongs should be the same.)

Generally, only the big fivers and motorhomes have 50 amp. hookups, they can be identified because they are 4 prong plugs.

Yep, that should be what fits your coach.
