Sunline T3075 Transport

Some of you may remember that Leo and I are looking to make a life style change! We are looking at toy haulers to make our lives easier (those kayaks are getting heavy lifting them u p on the roof of the truck) and to allow Leo to bring his motorcycle.

A week or so ago, there was a 2006 - 3075 for sale in Florida - I got many photos and posted (or had them posted - thanks Gary) here...and many of "our experts" chimed in with comments. We decided to pass on this one as it was too far to travel and there was known water damage in the garage area.

Well this past week I did find one (2007 - 3075) for sale at Wise Trailer Sales, Edensburg (outside Altoona PA) that we decided we wanted to look at......nice, clean, very little interior use (except the garage area), tires need (all from 2006 with cracking on the sidewalls) to be replaced and the roof needed re-caulking BUT after sitting in it and deciding where to put "stuff"......we decided it was not for us! I admit I'm spoiled with the room we have in the 2499 and did not think I could shrink to the smaller living space! I was very surprised that Leo agreed ! I left them with copies of the Sunline brochure - as they knew NOTHING about Sunlines at all!

So our search for something with a dedicated vapor wall, pull down screen in the garage area, side entrance door into the garage area and living space equal to or better than we what have currently, not to mention the quality of our Sunline, will begin! Oh and I would prefer a trailer and not a 5th wheel.....and I'm not really looking for any slides! Kinda limits us doesn't it!

Thanks to all our friends here on SOC for your help with "looking over" what we thought might be our dream trailer!

We are not getting any younger and this may not happen in the near future...but we are looking. So you are stuck with us a bit longer!!!

Jon - I do have serial # and pics I'll send your!

Good think you got to see one before you made a trip to Florida! Yes, the 3075/2675 is essentially a Solaris 2075 with the garage added on the back, so it is a pretty small living space.

As far as I know, Sunline was the only manufacturer doing the vapor barrier wall. Most people want maximum cargo space, because most toy hauler owners are in SoCal and go to the desert with tons of toys, so the VB wall isn't critical to them.

Thanks for getting the VIN info! They look like a very small dealer, since they are Jayco exclusive and seem to be pretty small. I'm surprised I didn't hear of them as a Jayco dealer.

Actually Jon they are not that small.....there where tons of trailers there and a fairly large showroom - or at least to the standards of the dealers we have dealt with in the past. There were 4 salesmen working on Saturday morning!

Yes a trip to Florida would have been a total waste of time, at least 8 hours to PA was a nice mini vacation over the weekend!

No matter what you do or don't buy, I, for one, hope we are "stuck" with you both a LOT longer.

Good luck with your search.

Kathy and Leo,

As a T3075 owner, I will agree the actual living area is small. But we put an overhead cabinet along the wall opposite the side door and a standup closet in the corner near the side door of the garage. We also hung clothes hanger rods in the two back corners. We can still fit the Harley, (or even a small golf cart), in the garage without trouble. We keep a LOT of stuff in the garage, and do just fine. This trailer is smaller than our previous rig, but we don't even notice. We're very happy with it. Y'all might want to give it a second thought.

We went from a pop-up to the 1950 then to the 2499 and I love the increase in living area....Leo and I do spend time outside enjoying a campfire, but in the evening we both like to go indoors and play cards, games or whatever.....losing the room was not something that I wanted to do.....we shall look on, it may be an SOB but we'll find what we are looking for eventually!

My priorities are a living space equal to the 2499, kitchen - ah not so much, Leo does most of the cooking outdoors but I do the prepping and dish washing inside, but I do want a bit more space than the 3075, garage space equal to or greater than the 3075 BUT whatever rig it is MUST have a dedicated vapor wall.....I do not want to pull stuff out of the "garage area" in order to sit and socialize!

We will be happy with our 2499 until that time comes!!!!!
