Sunline Identification

Hey guys, just picked up this project camper. I'm trying to identify year and model and anything else important and specific to this trailer. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Evan.

Hi Marroweh,

Welcome and congrats on your new Sunny!

I "think" what you have is a 1982 15 1/2 SB by the looks of it. I can't see the left side hole above the wheel, if that is a window or a hole someone cut in for a home AC unit. If I have the floor plan right, that hole is in the bathroom. The hole may not be original from Sunline. Would need more detail pics of it to tell.

In our "FILES" section are original camper sales brochures. Look at the top of the forum for a tab called, FILES, click it when logged in. Go to Brochures, scroll to 1982 and download a copy. Look a the 15 1/2 SB floor plan and see if it lines up with what you have.

That brochure will get you started. There is lots of other good stuff in the files section that can help.

And you can always ask away here on the forum.

Good luck with your new camper. Looking forward to seeing and hearing about your Sunline adventures. We like pic's!!! and you come bearing the gift of pics on your first post!

John

Yes, that could be. Your right. There has to be a vent to the lower part of the fridge. The pic may be deceiving, but it looks like I can see out the back window.

That could be possible if the wardrobe and wall were removed. Looking at the other picture from the street side, it does look like some wall board has been removed. I could be wrong.

Yep, '82 15.5' SB!

Agreed that the hole is the access panel for the refrigerator. Looks like the bathroom/refrigerator have been gutted, leaving a food truck effect going on.

Looks exactly like my 1983 model.
I am currently tearing out water-damaged interior walls.
Good Luck and stay safe!

Of Sunlines

There are usually two places to look. On the frame, left front on most, there will be found a plate with the vin number. Model numbers will be there.
In my trailer there is a hanging closet. Pasted on the back bulkhead is a information sheet showing I'D number, model number, inspector number, etc.
Try these. Hope it helps.
