In short, yes, you probably could get something from Ace to make it work.
I can't tell if your carrier still has the bolts on it or not, pic is too small. But if it does:
You need:
- Two lug nuts, 3/4" socket size I think, to fit the threads
- One lock washer
- One clamp bar
The wheel mounts where you put a lug hole over the top bolt and then put a nut on, countersink chamfer in. The lower bolt probably won't line up with any lug holes, so the original setup had a thick steel bar with a hole in the center. The hole would go in the bottom bolt, followed by a lock washer and the other lug nut (chamfer out) to hold it on. Tighten up that nut and the bar will touch the rim on both sides of the hub hole to hold it up tight.
Stromberg Carlson made a lot of the OEM tire carriers back then, so chances are it's that. You could call them and ask if they have just those parts available:
