Smile Solaris hatch covers

I have a 2007 Solaris 19.5 and need to replace the 2 hatch/vent covers due to UV deterioration. I was going to screw on a couple plexiglass panels as I really don't raise the hatch anyway. After realizing how economical the covers are I prob. need to search out a supplier of these covers. Any recommendations or do I need to take a frame measurement first ? Thanks again. Bob.

Should be 14X14. I would definitely replace the covers they fit over the edges to keep the water out. There are different configuration of the hinge take an old one with you.

I believe you need the older style Ventline/newer style Elixir vent cover. I agree with mainah, best to stick with a correct style vent cover so that it seals correctly.

RV vents are a standard 14x14", but the main differences are in the hinge style.

You will probably see a need to reseal the vent/roof joint after taking off the old covers. I used the white flex seal spray
which worked well.

Flex seal isn't good for RV roofs. It's a petroleum asphalt based product, and you aren't supposed to use any petroleum products on the rubber roof. Plus, it isn't a permanent seal:

I would clean off the flex seal and apply some Dicor self leveling sealant instead.
