Rear bumper mounting

We're looking at a 1998 T-2053 and noticed the bumper looks different. It's hard to explain, but its not mounted straight out the back. It has brackets that raise slightly up the back wall of the camper. Did sunline offer this as an option for better clearance or do you think someone did their own work to get it like that?

Any chance of posting a pic of the bumper and mount? We may be able to see and compare notes.

While the bracket is a little beefier on the later (2007, etc.) models, the general design is the same as it was back in the '80s. Mounted straight on the end of the frame rails with those angle brackets.
