Viking is an unknown quantity at this point
Our "new" Sunline came home today

Our T-2499 is now parked in our Driveway.
We got up early this morning and drove the 225 miles to Dublin, OH., where we got the expert, JohnB, to set up the hitch properly.
After having him show us around the Sunline and explaining everything, we headed back home to Lake Orion, MI.
The rig towed beautifully. Wouldn't expect less after JohnB set it up for us.
With a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 with Cummins Turbodiesel, four wheel drive and 4 speed automatic transmission, we got 19.1 MPG on the way down, driving the posted speed limit.
Going back we got 13.4 MPG, showing 60 on the speedometer most of the way. The GPS showed 57.
But going from down in Ohio up to Michigan is uphill all the way, - right?
Roar

Roar, h'mm well our V10 sucks just as much gas going up to "up" Gateway in Hillsdale Mi as it does coming down back home.... In fact is does the same thing going east to Buttonwood.... or west for that matter....

That is good towing miliage. Seems the Cummins and the Durmax for the newer engines have the higher towing milage in the diesels. The newer Ford 6.4 I think they are still refining. Makes me glad I got the V10....

The older 7.3 Fords do well though.

Glad Sunny is home with you safe and sound. Now we need to see you out in Sunny in action camping! Have to get that picture posting thing going. We can help you set it up if needed.

Good luck and happy camping

John
