Need Sunline Members input

Starting to paint our 1991 Sunline T1740. We just did one side to see if we liked it or not. It's painted cabin red with yellow trim and have painted a sun & a bumble bee on it. We are going with a bumble bee theme. We actually like it. Just wanted to get some opinions good or bad.

I think it's cute. My only concern is how dark colors get hotter in the sun. The bee is great!

City,?

WELCOME TENN, What city you in .?? We are just south of DAYTON,TN
near the river/ lake. Have a classic 79 to finish re-furbish, Just got a MURAL on the front rock guard today. . I like the length & the TWO axles
on your rig.

. Many of the classic 60's ,70's rigs have a two tone paint & some sort
pin stripe or zig zag lightning bolt across side . (??) I think the modified
theme looks good with the darker color on the bottom of sides. Maybe a tan color on the upper . Sort of like your door color... Like your accent stripe if it was raised One
row up to be under the rear window , & Three rows up to be under the front window.
Sort of cuts the door in half. ?

A couple of thoughts, just my personal opinion.

It looks like a nice paint job but I personally don't care for the dark color and it no longer looks like a Sunline (is that good or bad ..???)

The sun looks almost like the logo use by Annalee Dolls that used to be made in Meredith New Hampshire. My wife and I were avid colectors until they moved the manufacturing "offshore" and closed the Meredith factory.

That said, what is important is if YOU like it. Don't let one opinion discourage you from a nice paint job.

I'm waiting for Ronald McDonald to pop out of the door.

I think it looks good.
But then...I'm not a Sunline purist, either.
Gene's right. What's important is if you like it.

It's not what we think. It's what you think and are happy with. If everything was the same the world would be a boring place.

You will have people pointing, smiling, and coming over to strike up a conversation with you while you're out camping, Mike & Jo Ann (because of it being a Sunline and the paint job). It's a head turner. They do it for us and our "Peggy Sue", too.
