My new to me sunline travel trailer

Hello everyone! My name is Drake and I just bought a 1980ish sunline travel trailer for a whopping 50.00 .

Here are two pics of the outside.

and two of the inside.

its in really great shape on the inside.

I have a question though. on the outside by the door I have this square box.

I took the screws off to see what was behind it and I found this.

its the porch light, it still works but since there is a giant hole someone covered it up. My question is, Is there any replacements that i can order from somewhere or is there one that will work to cover that hole up? any advice would be appreciated. Also does anyone know the model of my camper? Thanks for looking I will have some updates on the progress of fixing this little camper up.

well the other day I started redoing the stove that is in the camper. It was rusted pretty bad so I started sanding all the rust down and sprayed it with high temp paint. I think it came out really good!

the vent fan had the most amount of rust on it.

before.

After.

and the stove.

Before.

the stove was about the worst looking part in the camper so i dont have much left to do on the inside except for replacing the light covers.

Before installing clean surface well and use butyl rubber tape under flange for a tight water seal. I'm sure new light and handle will add a new and better look to your trailer.

I'd leave the backplate silver to reflect the light. That's gonna look nice!
